Statue of Liberty

What do they say about the Statue of Liberty:

Sakesh Shetty:
The iconic statue represents the freedom and democracy. The highlight of the NewYork trip for any tourists. The statue was gifted by French to American people in 1886. visit to the island where the statue is through Ferry. There is only one company which operates here so you better plan the visit to have enough time to visit the Liberty statue and Ellis island. If you are visiting on a weekend the be prepared for long queue  and security checks. There is possibility to visit the pedestal which would require a prior appointment and not possible on site. The walk around the statue and the Museum will take easily an hour or more.  A Must visit if you are in NewYork.

Sky Ann:
saw it from a distance while crossing the bridge, not something i would be willing to pay money to see close up.

John Millar:
An iconic location. Museum is small but better than i expected. Not much else to do. Crown is currently closed. Great views of Manhattan

Erika Love:

Michael Slavev:
Great to stay a while on a island, buy some icy lemonade and watch Manhattan.

Allie Fam:
Love this place and New York in general. Prefer it during cooler weather.

Edda Becker:
Habe ich nur von Weitem gesehen, beeindruckend

Diego D:

Graeme Allen:
Great to visit, excellent museum. Fun trip on the boat

Chris Swinney (Swinster):
Took an organised walking tour (via " Walks", which is a City Experiences company) which was well worth the additional money. We went on the first boat trip of the morning which also was worthwhile.

Mal Galwey:
The icon of the USA, beautiful, you should visit it. If you go to the USA you should go to Statue of Liberty in New York City…

AS – Bärli:

krishan pal singh Rawat:
A place where people come from world over to watch...It is a nice place to visit with family and friends but do book tickets in advance to be on safer side and check the weather too...😊👌

Iván Delgado Medina:
Muy buena experiencia. Buenas panorámicas de la ciudad.

Daniella Lopez:

Gisellgg:
The only bad thing is really crowded. So you can't take pictures. You have to go early.

John Unseld:

Chandan Yelamanchili:
places to visit in the US.
Visit and enjoy the beauty of the monument in person.
Make sure you buy tickets online/in advance during public holidays to avoid long wait times.
It can be a little cleaner.

Harihar K:
It was awesome! Go alone or with bunch of family or friends. You would not disappoint. Pack your meals and spend good time sitting in greens and watching NY skyline.

Take time to visit the Statue of Liberty Museum. Must see 10 min act on history of Statue of Liberty. Several antiques that involved in building it are placed for viewers.

Coming to Statue of Liberty, about 300 ft raised from ground, beautifully sculpted by Barthold. Magnificent in every angle. Visitors from all over world make it look like true icon of Liberty, watching immigrants coming in and going out of USA.

Vanessa Navarro:

Allana Clarke:
Great museum. Wasn't there last time here. Cafe here, warm & cold food.

Luca felice Cerrito:

Kaveh Mohammad:
Best place to park your car is Liberty Park in New Jeresy. 7$ per car. Allocate 2-3 hours to visit the liberty statue only (+2hrs for Ellis Island). Ferry hours are from 8:30Am to 5pm, roughly every 15-20 mins.

Justin Xuereb:
Iconic place to visit when on holiday in NYC New York City ! 🗽
The museum on the island showing the history of liberty is also worth a visit !

Silas in NZ:
Amazing experience. I would come back. The ferry right was fun, you can take great pictures from the water. The ferry ride is a bit pricey, but worth it.

Lucas Santos:

Mitchell Brookes:
Great to visit the island and walk around! In the summer expect to stand in the sun whilst waiting for the ferry back to Manhattan/NJ.

Robert Dorris:
We really enjoyed visiting the Statue of Liberty! We went to the top of the pedestal, but the crown is closed due to ventilation issues and the ongoing threat of COVID. My daughters really enjoyed it though. We climbed the 215 steps to get to the pedestal and it was well worth it.

Sarah Bartnitzki:

Domingo Gonzalez:

Giorgio Davanzo:
Merita visitarla, e richiede abbastanza tempo (il biglietto include l'accesso a Ellis Island)

Jonathan McConnell:
The statue's crown bears seven spikes, symbolizing the seven oceans and seven continents of the world, and emphasizing her message of welcome, inclusiveness, and freedom.

Cristobal Garcia:
Has something special in it. More than the cliché must view place, when you first see it close, really makes you feel like an old immigrant looking for a new life.

Very different from the expectation i had

Sebatian Firl:

john gomez (Gomez Racing):
Great experience. Need to go early if you want to purchase the extra ticket to go inside the statue. They sell out fast.

Maria Lorenzo Hernandez:

Tony O Dowd:
Brilliant experience and well worth the time. Make sure you go through the government's website to get your tickets and not private tours.

Alex T:
Not what we expected. The island was nice, but the environment was just wrong. There is a lot offences around the statue that come out in all of our pictures. The fence looks torn and unkempt and all of the construction just made the experience negative. The cafe and gift store are astronomically expensive. Most of the staff was rude, especially cashiers and they have have a shortage of employees, as the lines to get a soda or sandwich were just ridiculous. The condiments bar was dirty and unkept, the bathrooms were disgusting,  especially the one at the museum. Many of the cameras at the museum were broken or not working, and there was no organization whatsoever about the whole experience. The boat crew wad rude as they had been when we went to Ellis Island, and the only thing I have something positive to say about is the platform view on top of the museum was nice to take pictures at. We were rather disappointed about our entire experience. We waited years to come and see the statue of liberty in person, and we couldn't wait to get out of there fast enough.

Azhar Gulzar:
Fantastic it was wonderful experience, specifically when you are on top, and filming from the sky, that look such a amazing, that place also cool, superb look water all around, in a farther  view, tallest high rise building. I suggest must be visit if you got chance to explore,New York

Obed Torres:
Years ago I promise myself and mom one day we will go to see the statue of the Liberty. Mom's gone with the Lord and I went alone as I promised.

Teresa O Brien:
Lady Liberty is undergoing renovations on her pedestal atm but it won't  interfere with your visit at all Such a reasonably priced visit includes the lovely  boat trip there and back and Ellis Island .🗽🛳

Lokesh Shukla:
Trace the history of immigration in the US at the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. It tells the tale of the 12 million immigrants who entered the country through Ellis Island through an audio tour, exhibits and an interactive area.

While at Ellis Island, you can’t skip a trip to the iconic Statue of Liberty. It’s one of the most popular places to visit near New York. Reserve tickets months in advance so that you can tour the pedestal and the crown.

mark riv:

Jyoti Uaiventura:
Merece a visita.

Bernard Ngie:
Been here so many times and I guess it’s first time for everything to visit this majestic and amazing museum   The symbol of  enlightenment.

Ferit T:
New York'un simgelerinden biri olan Statue of Liberty özgürlük adasında yer almakta. On dakikalık bir feribot yolculuğunun ardından adaya ulasabilirsiniz.

Deivid Vargas:
Si vas a New York y no la visitas, 🗽 es cómo no haber ido a la gran

Tie Dough:
A beautiful, old, and large statue manifesting the idea of American freedom and liberty.
